Amanda Dams
Founding Photographer
It all started back in 2010 when Amanda studied Photography at the University of South Florida. For her first 3 years as a photographer, she focused on being a wedding photographer. In 2013, after taking many photography courses, she specialized in newborn photography, extending her portfolio to headshots and portrait photography as well.
Originally from Brazil, Canada became her home in late 2015, and since then she photographed over 1000 clients. In the meantime, she participated as a speaker at three different photography conferences in Brazil, sharing her knowledge with over 800 professional photographers.
Irina
Lead Photographer
A photographer from Ukraine with over 10 years of experience, she realized during her master’s degree studies in practical psychology that she wanted to apply her knowledge in working with people through photography. Her profession has become a solid foundation for her lifelong passion – photographing people.
Additionally, she possesses an art education, which enables her to capture interesting and accurate pictures. Drawing upon this experience and combining it with her ability to work with people, she can deliver high-quality images.
Angel
Booking Assistant
Angel is our booking assistant at Amanda Dams Portraits. She has been in the administrative industry for almost 10 years. She is our team member who is behind our emails and calls.
Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Angel is a mother of two beautiful babies: Hayley and Riley. She is a passionate foodie and loves hiking!
